Abhay Deol made his film debut in the 2005 Imtiaz Ali's Socha Na Tha. Known to take up different and unconventional roles like in Dev D, Honeymoon Travels and Manorama Six Feet Under that won the Best Film at the Mahindra Indo-American Arts Council Film Festival in New York City, and Abhay won the Best Actor Award . He has aced each of his performances in the most endearing way possible. His film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, became the ninth-highest worldwide- grosser of all time for a Bollywood film.In 2021 Abhay ventured in the space of web shows like, 1962: The War in the Hills and JL50. He also starred in a Disney Channel original film Spin, hailed as Disney's first film centered around an Indian-American family, a crime comedy film Velle and his latest,Trial By Fire released oin 2023 on Netflix.Abhay Deol is an accomplished actor who understands how to play complex characters with great sensitivity while championing the voice of independent cinema through his work.
